Abstract
1) In order to design and make reasonable prosthetic crown and bridge work, particularly the porcelain jacket crown for the incisors, radiography is absolutely necessary for the observation of the crondition of the vital pulp before the preparation of the abutment teeth. 2) It is considered preferrable to have dental X-Ray taken after the removal of the enamel on the lingual surface so as to observe the exact position of the pulpal cavity. 3) As for the method for the radiography, Long-cone-technic is recommanded. 4) Even though this is not the best way for the preparation of the abutment teeth, yet it might be the subsitutional choice for such a procedure ; i.e. firstly remove the enamel on the linguo-cervical ridge and linguo-marginal ridge, then have the dental X-Ray re-taken once again.
