In this paper, it is discussed that how the future work styles will change with advancement of IT and AI. The most important changes will be the increase of knowledge work and growing of its importance. Japanese companies need to transform traditional management to retain and develop knowledge workers. At the same time, correcting the disparities in employment and wage of routine workers will be also an important issue. Furthermore, it will be a challenge for Japanese companies to position emotional labor as a job that cannot be replaced by AI or IT, properly treat emotional labors, and develop them proactively.
