The purpose of this paper is to finish the helicoidal surface accurately by using a fly tool . A rotor used in a screw-compressor of a non-lubrication-type is used as an example of the helicoidal surface. We deal with a helicoidal rotor having the circular arc in the preceding paper, and a practical rotor having the plural curved lies in the section perpendicular to the rotor axis in this paper. In order to manufacture the rotor of a non-lubrication-type by a fly tool, cutter shape is numerically analyzed. Then the rotor was hobbed with this cutter and measured by a three-dimensional measuring machine. In the result, it became clear that it is possible to manufacture the rotor of a non-lubrication-type by using a fly tool.
