抄録

A method is proposed for separating of different obiects on the movement track of the vibration feeder. The track vibrates harmonically in the horizontal and vertical directions. The impact vibration characteristics of the objects and track are analyzed. Under the steady state periodic vibration, the collision phase in each impact and the horizontal velocity of the objects after impact are determined by the profile and restitution of the obiect. By selecting the amplitude and phase of the track vibration, objects with different properties can be separated. Moreover, it is shown that objects can be transported in the opposite directions.
