Larvae of yellow striped flea beetle, Phyllotreta striolata Fabricius, were reared with four diets: fresh leaves of a radish (Raphanus sativus) and Chinese cabbages (Brassica campestris and Brassica. rapa), and fresh roots of a radish (R. sativus). The larvae became adults 17 (on Chinese cabbage leaves)-20 days (on radish roots) after hatching at 25°C. The survival rate of the larvae was 85 (on radish leaves)-100%(on radish roots). The difference in the diet type except radish leaves had no significant effect on the adult body size in both sexes.
