A transplantable squamous cell carcinoma in C3H/He strain mouse named GSq-1 was newlly established at the laboratory of radiology of Gunma University. The tumor was induced by painting of 20-methylcholanthrene benzole solution on the skin.
A intramuscular GSq-1 of ten passages was keeping the pattern of well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma with a cyst-like portion.
The survival days of the tumor bearing mice into thigh muscle and subcutis of abdominal wall were about 40 days and about 60 days.
The rate of “take” of GSq- 1 to the C 3 H/He mouse was 100 percent.
