In this paper the result on the isolation of Bacillus thuringiensis from the dust of silkworm rearing houses of farmers in Aichi Prefecture and the toxicity for the silkworm larvae were described.
1. The isolation of Bacillus thuringiensis was 33.3, C out of 42 samples of the dust which were collected from rearing houses.
2. Each isolate was toxic for silkworm larvae.
3. The toxicity of Bacillus thuringiensis was inactivated by submergence in boiling water for 5 minutes.
