In July 1978 the Jiwa Baru Butterfly Collection Club, of Padang, West Sumatra, sent an expedition to Sipora, in the Mentawai Islands, with the following members taking part: Lie Tiang CIN, Irwan DARMALI, Herryanto HARTANTO, Himzar RACHMADI and Khoe Cin LOEN. I am grateful to the members of the Club for the priviledge of examining their captures and for permission to present to the British Museum (Natural History) on their behalf the types of the new taxa described below.
