Immature stages, egg, larva and pupa of Ypthima wenlungi Takahashi (Nymphalidae, Satyrinae) are described with developmental process and food plants. This species has peculiar characteristics in the larval and pupal stages which are distinguished clearly from those of Y. multistriata and Y. esakii, which are apparently similar to this species in adult wing pattern.
