Laser is one of strong tools for remote sensing in space. Previous works and future planes with space
bone Lidar are reviewed. Development of laser technology is key issues for these applications. Thermal
vacuum experiment of the space laser was introduced. Our laser was stable in the temperature region
from -40 degree to 60 degree in the vacuum. As a future plan, we introduce JEM-EUSO project for
detection of extreme high energy particle over 1020 eV.
