For the next generation Japanese satellite navigation system, we have developed a precision microwave
reference signal generation system which consists of an optical frequency reference and an optical frequency
comb. The third harmonics of a 1545-nm diode laser is stabilized in reference to the iodine saturated
absorption line at 515 nm. One of the longitudinal modes of an 8-shaped Er-doped fiber mode-lock
laser is phase-locked to the iodine-stabilized laser, and the stable microwave frequency can be obtained
as the repetition frequency of the mode-lock laser. In the present paper, we give brief introduction of our
system and the environment tests applying to our fiber mode-lock lasers.
