SATOGEN, a soil regeneration material, suppresses plant diseases and can be used to convert woody fertilizers at low temperatures, preventing continuous crop damage in farmland. Bacteria with soil regenerative activity were isolated from SATOGEN, and 38 species of bacteria in 20 genera were isolated. Under refrigerated temperature culture conditions, four species of Bacillus, Psychrobacillus psychrodurans, and Streptomyces thermocarboxydus were isolated. All of them had cellulolytic activity, and B. aryabattai and P. psychrodurans also had ligninolytic activity. Chitinophaga ginsengihumi, Bacillus bataviensis, Hymenobacter ocellatus, and Mesorhizobium thiogangeticum were isolated under humic acid-vitamin medium conditions, Serratia marcescens was isolated under wood component medium conditions. Finally, regarding the major bacteria, 4 species of Bacillus, 7 species of Pseudomonas, 5 species of Streptomyces, and others (Arthrobacter oryzae, Bradyrhizobium algeriense, Brevibacillus brevis, Cupriavidus necator, Enterobacter cloacae, Fulvimonas soli, Halomonas sp., Lactococcus lactis, Luteibacter rhizovicinus, Microbacterium hydrocarbonoxydans, Nitrobacter vulgaris, Serratia marcescens, Sphingomonas oligoaromativorans) were isolated. Most of these major bacteria have been reported to have wood decomposition activity, plant disease inhibitory activity, and plant growth promoting activity.
