抄録
I have been studying the underlying mechanisms of transport and metabolism of biological membrane lipids in mammals. Recently, I initiated research using Drosophila melanogaster and other non–model animals to understand the roles of biological membrane lipids. On account of the development in technologies related to DNA sequencing, genome editing, and lipid analysis, the analysis of the biological membrane lipids of small and non–model animals, which have unique and unrevealed features, is now feasible.
