Millipore' is new hydrophilic composite polyethersulfone membranes have a void-free structure that guards against leakage of solutes through microdefects associated with UF membranes that have voids beneath their thin skins. As a result, the new membranes have more permeable performance than conventional UF membranes while maintaining retention-resulting in high retention, high-flux membranes.
