An unexpected discovery of clavarioid fungi: First record of Lepidostroma asianum in China

Abstract

A new record species of Lepidostroma collected from Fujian Province in southeastern China, was identified as L. asianum based on morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analyses. Macro- and micro-morphological features of the species are reported and illustrated.
