“地方創生”で要請される大学の機能に関する検討―人材育成，知の創出，そして“場”づくり―

We performed analysis of variance based on the data of industry-university cooperation of national, public, and private universities published by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It revealed that national universities have had more joint researches with companies outside a prefecture than companies inside a prefecture compared with public and private universities. The reason seems that the names of national universities are well known by companies outside a prefecture, therefore the cooperation for joint research relatively proceeds smoothly. However, in order to strongly promote joint research with companies inside a prefecture for “Regional Revitalization” in future, measures for cooperating with small and medium-sized enterprises inside a prefecture are urgently required. We also indicated the importance to create the “Ba” for the cooperation.
