The habitat condition of Lefua costata echigonia was surveyed at 20 stations in the Tama Hill, southern Kanto district, from May 1997 to April 1998. pH，electric conduction (EC), dissolved oxygen (DO), chemical oxygen demand (COD), etc. are reported in this paper.
