Sagoromo, who has unworldly attributes, carries out his mission as a savior of the society and the court by ascending to the throne. Nevertheless he himself wishes to be released from the sufferings of having the unworldly attributes. The relationships like this between Sagoromo and the world help him to function as a mediator between the world and the court, but on the other hand he never agrees with either of them, though it doesn't take the form of antinomy, Sagoromo Monogatari has this kind of deformed relationships between Sagoromo and the world as its plot.
