FeSb2O4およびその同型化合物単結晶の水熱合成

Single crystals of MSb2O4 (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and Zn) were hydrothermally synthesized. They have been found to be isomorphous, and precession photographs revealed that they belong to the space group of P 42/mbc or P42. X-ray powder diffraction pattern of FeSb2O4 is similar to that of natural schafarzikite. Density and chemical analysis data of the synthetic FeSb2O4 are different from those of natural schafarzikite reported by L. Tokody, whereas they are in accordance with the theoretical values based on the crystal structure analysis of natural schafarzikite. The DTA and TG of above compounds show exothermic peak and weight increase due to the change from MSb2O4 to MSb2O6 at a temperature range from 490 to 630°C.
