Abstract
Three patients with trichilemml cyst with nodules on the scalp and left cervical region and left cheek, were treated. In the 36 studied statistically, ages ranged from 19 to 80 years and the lesions were mainly located on the scalp. Difference in distribution between the sexes was not seen. Multiple occurrences were noted in only three Japanese. About seventy percent of occurrences are in Europeans and North Americans. Cysts in the Japanese were more likely to be calcified. Malignant change occurred in one Japanese patient.
