Abstract

Seven cases of Bowen’s disease were histochemically studied (HE, PAS, Congo red and Dylon stainings). Papillary and subepidermal deposits of amyloid were found in two patients. Immunohistological studies were carried out in the two cases with amyloid deposits by the PAP method using antikeratin antibodies. The reactions remained negative, while the epidermal keratinocyte showed positive reactions.
