Isolated horizontal fracture of the anterior arch of the atlas is very rare.
Few references to this fracture are in the literature: Boni and Kuroda mentioned a case respectively.
We report the mechanism, clinical symptoms, roentgenometry, and differential diagnosis of this fracturs.
