We report here a case demonstrating Charcot Joints at the lumber spine and ankle joints. The patient was a 27-year-old female, presenting the characteristic clinical and radiologic features of neurogenic arthropathy, but with no overt neurologic symptoms. In addition, she had a past history of fractures without pain, and her parents were consanguineous first cousins. A sural nerve biopsy showed normal findings in both the myelinated fibers and the unmyelinated fibers. We accordingly diagnosed the patient as having a subclinical inherited neuropathy, first reported by Dyck in 1983.
