At present, highly stable ovens for temperature control of crystal oscillators are being deve-loped in our country and abroad. But the basic knowledge of their design method and data of temperature distributions inside the ovens are deficient. It was to alleviate this deficiency of informations that this paper describes general features with respect to steady-state temperature distributions in right circular cylinder and also compared with experiments using laboratory ovens.
