College of Sustainable System Sciences in Osaka Prefecture University

What shall we study for solving contemporary frontier problems?

Abstract

In order to educate undergraduates sustainability issues on society, energy and ourselves, Osaka Prefecture university has proposed four colleges instead of the traditional seven schools. Especially, one of them, college of sustainable system sciences, is established for cross disciplinary and intra disciplinary. The college consists of three schools of: (1) knowledge and information systems, (2) environmental system sciences and (3) management. This paper describes the concept and overview.
