We conducted an experiment in which subjects were asked to watch a drive recorder video, draw a map from memory, and at the same time answer the distance traveled, straight line distance, and direction of the end point as seen from the start point. The subjects were asked to watch two courses, "Course with sound " and "Course without sound ". Six courses of video were used in the experiment. The correct response rates for direction, distance, and change of course were compared with and without sound.
