Abstract
Cd3-xAxTeO6(A= A3+ or A+) with a 1:1 ordered perovskite-type structure was carried out by a solid-state reaction method and heating mixtures of CdO, TeO2, A2O3, respectively. The resistivity and thermoelectric power of the single-crystal indium-substituted sample were 0.6 mΩ cm and -50μV/K, respectively, giving a power factor of 4×10-4 WK-2m-1, which is the highest among nontransition metal oxides.
