Both high efficiency and low cost is important to realize a practical process for the solar cell generation. TiO2 electrode film with controlled morphology and crystalline on flexible substrates of large areas may be one of resolutions for this problem. Here we present an aqueous-solution-based process for the evolution of morphology and crystalline of TiO2 films on a polymer substrate. The films demonstrated anatase, rutile or amorphous state under different treatment conditions in terms of pH, temperature and/or additives. Solar cells using the prepared TiO2 will also be characterized and the result will be presented.
