The long-term stability and durability of autoclaved cementitious building materials such as walls and roofs are very important in connection with the quality assurance systems of houses. For that purpose, production of crystal 1.1nm-tobermorite in the materials by autoclaved curing is indispensable and focus on its crystallinity in the various water-to-powder-ratio is important when they’re really used as building materials. This paper describes the effect of water-to-powder-ratio on crystallinity of autoclaved calcium silicate hydrates such as 1.1nm-tobermorite in Portland Cement -α-quartz-water systems with water-to-powder-ratio from 0.2 to 0.9 at 180℃.
