腹痛にて発症し，著明な十二指腸第2部の潰瘍と小腸の出血びらんを伴ったSchönlein-Henoch紫斑病の1例

A 19-year-old female was admitted to our hospital with complaints of abdominal pain. After admission, she complained hematemesis. Endoscopic examination revealed marked ulcer of the second portion of the duodenum and round-shaped hemorrhagic erosion of the stomach. Colonoscopic examination revealed hemorrhagic erosion of the small intestine and round-shaped hemorrhagic erosion of the cecum. Eight days after admission, she noted hemorrhagic spot on hip and femur. The diagnosis of Schönlein-Henoch purpura was confirmed by the biopsy of the skin. The patient was effectively treated with H₂-blocker and prednisolone.
We suggest that when we recognize the endoscopic findings of marked ulcer of the second portion of the duodenum and round-shaped hemorrhagic erosion, we anticipate Schönlein-Henoch purpura and other systemic disease.
