The present report announces the sequel of the report which appeared in the previous number of this publication.
In my first report, I discussed the different linear approximation for the Munsell renotation value function for CIE (Y)<1%.
This report is concerned with the modified [AN40] color system by new lightness function. Namely, this system resembles the Adams-Nickerson chromatic value system but replaces the quintic parabola function with a linear and cube-root function.
For color having reflectance smaller than 1.0% the color spacing obtained agrees with Munsell spacing as closely as the modified [AN40] system.
Uniformity of the New Color System will further be discussed in the next paper.
