1) The ABH blood group activities of human erythrocytes exist mainly in the glycolipid and to a small extent in the glycoprotein fractions. The ABH blood group activities in the glycoprotein fraction are not significantly different between secretrs and non-secretors. 2) The glycolipid fraction isolated from human gastric mucosa contains a moderate level of ABH and a fairly high level of Lewis activities.
