Serum specimens were collected from 104 cases with hemolytic streptococcus infection anb the relationship between antistreptolysin-O titre and percentage of serum protein fractions were observed.
Total serum protein concentration and β-globulin fraction showed no definite tendency. Albumin showed a slightly decreasing tendency as the ASL-O titre increased. α1-globulin showed a decreasing tendency and this trend was significant though it was slight.
γ-globulin was enhanced definitely with the increasing of ASL-O titre, the regression coefficient was 0.34 and this value was significant at 0.1% level.
