COVID-19, which began to be reported around December 2020 and spread throughout the world, changed society drastically and required many quick responses to the unprecedented situation. Knowing how people felt about this event, which can be regarded as a disaster, will be useful not only for COVID-19 but also for many other possible events in the future. Therefore, we conducted a time-series analysis using tweets from Twitter in order to find out what kind of emotional changes have occurred in Japanese society over the past two years regarding COVID-19 and vaccines. As a result, we found that sentiment changed according to the number of infected people and the events that had a large social impact.
