Abstract
The method of town development established in early 20th century such as Letchworth in UK has been expanded to many town development in the world. It is however, now day, those methods have been brought of many problems not to be adapted to modern social and economical conditions too. To give actual examples, these problems are enlargement of risk in project, nonsensical standardization of house and town and disruption of local community.
This paper will present the essence of study for new development concept to overcome the bottleneck in usual town development. We will study the history of town development in Japan and in western countries, find out new concept from outcome of many new town to be developed until today.
We will believe firmly to create a new method of town development from this concept.
