抄録
Due to the administrative guidance, standardized area of forest has been remained through the project of big scale development. However, the preservation does not lead the area to restore to the original natural environment, because it is rare to manage the remnant forest after the project and it is usually left as it is. Also monotonous planting trees without clear prospective vision of the forest nor any environmental investigation does not help to reproduce the original condition.
On the other hand, because of rising of consciousness for protection of natural environment among the mass, not only for primeval forest but also village-vicinity forest were recognized as object for protection. In addition, the school, where takes up the environmental issues as their curriculum, is increasing.
In regards to the project that we report today, we created biotope with thinning the forest, transplanting rarity plants, creating biotope-pond (using regulating pondage), based on the result of our environmental investigation. Further more, we are providing educational program for experiencing nature with the biotope that we created. We have confirmed by our investigation after creating the biotope that flora and fauna have expanded area of their lives through the biotope.
