Abstract
This paper describes algorithm to identify the parameters of primitives: a plane, a cylinder, a sphere, a circular cone, and a circular ring, forming the shape of a physical model from measurement data: the position vectors and the unit normal vectors, of discrete points on a physical model. And a system to construct an expression model from the identified parameters of the primitives is developed. A test to construct an expression model from measurement data of a physical model was carried out, and the effectiveness of this system was confirmed.
