Abstract
A makyoh phenomenon occurs from the surface topography such as sub-micrometers order chuckholes. The makyoh is produced by technicians′ craftsmanship. However, the problem of technicians decrease is attracted attention. In the present paper, we tried the digital manufacturing of makyoh using NC machining and polishing. We drilled polished brass circular plate changing with the thickness of hole bottom by the square type end-mill tool. As a result, it is clear that makyoh surface can be created using NC machining and polishing. It seems that 10 micrometers order convex on the polished surface make dark part on Makyoh image because of the diffusion of the reflected light.
