In a human-centered cell production system, various machines including robots are implemented to support the human operator with the goal of improving the overall productivity. In order to ensure the effectiveness of such system, the man and machine must be able to collaborate well throughout the assembly process. In this study, task modeling approach is used to develop assembly information to support the man-machine collaboration. Assembly information is provided to the human operator as guidance throughout the entire assembly operation. With the assembly information, the human operator is guided with assembly instruction together with the operation information of the total system including supporting devices. By this system, the operation sequence between human operator and machines can be coordinated well to ensure the effectiveness of the man-machine collaboration.
