Abstract
In the shape measurement by color fringe projection, a specific value of the hue corresponds to constant phase of the fringes if the reflection characteristics of the test object are uniform. The projected grating pattern can be analyzed easily. This principle is used for the detection of moire fringe pattern which produced by adding two color intensity-distribution functions in this study. The moire topography where grating patterns are projected from both sides, the deformation measurement and the vibration mode analysis by the time averaging method are presented. Moreover, improvement of fringe visibility is attempted.
