Abstract
The Self-assembly of fine particles has an advantage of low cost and high productivity. Dip coating is the simple process because the substrate is drawn up from suspension that contains colloidal particles. And site-selective assembly can be obtained by controlling the chemical composition and/or surface structure of the substrate. In addition, functionalized particle can be assembled by changing particle material in the suspension. In this paper, we demonstrate make the gas sensor with metal oxide nano particle using site selective self assembly and we obtained response characteristics of tin oxide gas sensor in reaction to ethanol.
