Evaluation Shape of Abrasive Grain using Micro-Manipulator

Abstract

These days, micro-manipulator is became main tools in the micro-operation. This paper proposes a method for evaluate the shape of abrasive grain using micro-manipulator. Degree of Circularity and Equivalent Circle Diameter is being used to evaluate the shape of abrasive grain. However these evaluation methods are not appropriate for abrasive grain selection. Therefore, we propose a proper method for evaluate the shape of abrasive grain, and using micro-manipulator with rotation system, we evaluate the three-dimensional shape of abrasive grain.
