Study on administration conditions and promotional factors of the park management societies in the block parks

A case study of Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City

Abstract

The aim of this study is to clarify actual situation of the park management groups and promoting conditions of operation of the groups. We conducted the investigation of surrounding environment of neighborhood parks on Tuzuki Ward, in Yokohama City and questionnaires to the management groups. As a result, promoting conditions of the block park management is impacted by relationships among neighborhood associations and other public spaces.
