Change of the interest in town by the town planning workshop of junior and senior high school students

From the experience of the workshop in Matsuno town, Ehime

Abstract

It is important to have interest of our town for Community Development and creating civic pride. However, we have little opportunities to have interest in our town in our life. So, we planed the Community Development workshop of junior and senior high school students in Matsuno Town, Ehime. We aimed to provide an opportunity to have interest in their town and consider the elements to plan a better workshop. In this workshop, we could have important points. First, Local Study was very necessary. It was to make an opportunity to investigate the town. Second, using hands and thinking made them understand the town deeply. Finally, the presentation could create the interaction of other generations of people.
