Relationship between Cognitive Distance and Residential History in Metropolitan Areas

Abstract

In this study, we analyze the relationship between the actual distance and the living history. A web-based questionnaire survey was used to analyze various factors that are thought to affect cognitive distance in a single-day area with diverse regional characteristics. Although some of the results were unclear, the results of multiple regression analysis and sample classification suggested that the history of residence affected cognitive distance in many sample classifications.
