Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the demographic change in reconstruction period from the nuclear accident. As a result of research and analysis of demographic change over time before and after the nuclear accident for the evacuation order cancellation area, although the population is gradually recovering, but its structure has changed since before the accident. Specifically, the number of workers by industry classification and the population in small areas have changed. Although the attraction of new industries and the construction of urban facilities positioning in reconstruction plan are progressing, but the revitalization of traditional damaged industries and shopping districts has not progressed. There are areas with a growing population where only housing is being built without developing transportation systems or urban facilities. In this way, there are multiple urban planning issues in the process of reconstruction from the nuclear accident.
