The Case of Sakuragawa City In Ibaraki Prefecture

Abstract

Sakuragawa City, Ibaraki Prefecture, has introduced a unique land use planning system and land use adjustment method that combines the district planning system and the basic land use ordinance. This paper presents an overview of the institutional design of the unique land use planning system and land use adjustment method in Sakuragawa City, Ibaraki Prefecture, in which the author was actually involved.
