Report on the Reconstruction Condition of damaged areas in Phuket and Khao lak as of 2007 March

Abstract

After 2004 Sumatra Tsunami, Tsunami Recovery Project about Life support and Residential reconstruction business for tsunami sufferer is moving to the last Phase. The authors conducted field surveys and interviews with residents in Phuket and Khao Lak to grasp building reconstruction conditions as of March 2007.This paper reports the field surveys and shows that each affected area has different own problems according to damage impact and regional characteristics.
