Abstract

This paper is outline of an approach to community involvement for youth, especially the NEET problem, by non-profit organisation for Environmental regeneration. Some of Characteristics of these programmes are gradual approach, free admission, one to one supporting system and collaboration project by NPOs. In addition many of these programmes are promoted by youth themselves. And it is important to set up a partnership system with private sector in this approach, for example, as a match funding system. These approaches are a good example for activities of non-profit organisations for regeneration in Japan. That is , as a new approach by NPO in Japan, it is important and significant to apply the skill of environmental regeneration to youth empowerment and social exclusion problem.
