Most potentiostats require dual regulated DC power supply, which supplies e.g. +15 V and -15 V. In this technical note, we will consider such power supplies. Linear regulated type and switched-mode type power DC supplies for potentiostat are compared with each other. Also, an example of the USB (universal serial bus) powered potentiostat is described.
